Siddharth and Shivanya came downstairs, walking side by side. Seeing them, everyone's eyes shone with hope. Hope that they will agree, hope that they would find each other compatible, hope that they will not defy and hope that they will not upset them.
"What's the answer of both of you??" asked Shreshth, excitedly.
"Hold down your horses Shreshth. Have some patience" said Tripti.
"We are ready for this marriage" said Shivanya and Siddharth together, sharing the good news.
"Means it's a yes??" asked Tripti, smiling
They nodded and everyone erupted in joy, hugging and cheering.
"Yayy!!!!" exclaimed the teenagers in happiness and danced around, holding hands, circling the couple.
Party poppers were bursted on them. The elders hugged, congratulating each other. Happiness evident in every word said, every glance exchanged and every hug shared.
After Sometime -
Singhania Villa -
Hall -
"I think we should take a leave now" said Megha.
"If you could wait for some more time, then it would be great" said Shalini.
"We would like to wait but it's already late so we have to go" said Megha, smiling at her.
The elders shared hugs and the youngsters shared hand shakes, bidding each other a bye. Soon, thee Malhotra's left.
Night -
Singhania Villa -
Dining room -
"Mom I think we should make some sweets after everyone complete with their dinner" suggested Tripti to Shalini.
"That's a great idea!!" exclaimed Shalini.
"From where you get so great ideas bhabhi??" asked Rohit to Tripti.
"God has filled my brain with ideas" replied Tripti.
"It's not filled with garbage like your brain is" said Shivanya, making fun of Rohit and everyone share a laugh.
"Huh!!! You are making fun of me. Don't you have any shame!!" exclaimed Rohit, sadly yet irritatedly.
"No that so I have given you on rent years ago!!" exclaimed Shivanya, laughing hard.
"Whatever!!!" exclaimed Rohit, rolling his eyes.
Everyone laughed hard at their small fight, addicted to this daily routine.
"Then too I have more shame than you have" said Rohit, showing attitude.
"That is because of that only. I gave you my shame on rent and you didn't pay me anything in return for that" said Shivanya, laughing hard.
The dining table was full of laughs and happiness.
After Sometime -
Singhania Villa -
Hall -
"So who will make sweets today??" asked Sourav.
"I am going to make sweets today" replied Shivanya.
"Oh my God!!! Today the highness is going to the kitchen" overacted Rohit.
"Stop teasing me Rohit!! I go to kitchen and work there too. Now, if your eye sight is so weak then what can I do??" said Shivanya, crushing his attitude and replying to him sarcastically.
"I have a very good eye sight, your eye sight is only weak. You are always busy in either your laptop or phone" said Rohit, giving her a tough competition today.
"So I am not useless like you and I have a lot of work to do. I am not free person like you" said Shivanya, giggling softly as she again gave him a tough reply.
"Oh God!! How much you both fight!!" exclaimed Tarun.
"You only see her bhai. She is continuously teasing and irritating me." complained Rohit.
"You are no less" said Tarun, rolling his eyes.
"Bhaiiiii...." whined Rohit softly yet cutely.
"You already know I would not say anything to her. You should gain some sense from her. She is not at all wrong, you are a total free person." said Tarun defending Shivanya as always.
"Aww bhai!! I love you!!" exclaimed Shivanya, side hugging him.
"I love you too Shivanya!!" exclaimed Tarun, reciprocating the hug and caressing her hair.
"Very bad bro!! You always defend her" said Rohit, his lips forming a cute pout.
"Don't worry Rohit!! I am there for you. I am always by your side" said Tripti.
Listening to this, Rohit hugged her tightly.
"You are the best bhabhi in the whole world!!" exclaimed Rohit.
"And you are the best devar in the whole world!!" exclaimed Tripti.
They both shared a hug.
"Dii you are wrong at that point. Rohit is on second number, the best devar of this whole world is my devar" said Shivanya.
"Arey wahh abhi se hi woh best devar ho gaya sahi hai!" exclaimed Rohit, sulking.
( Oh wow! Now he is the best devar, nice )
Shivanya giggled softly and made her way towards the kitchen but not before throwing a cushion on Rohit's face.
After half an hour, the sweets were ready. Shivanya brought them out and everyone ate them happily.
"Wow Shivanya!! These are so delicious!! Just loved them!!" complimented Rohit, enjoying his sweets.
"Now you got to know how much talented I am!!" exclaimed Shivanya, praising herself and patting her own back in praise.
"Hidden talents you know!!" exclaimed Tarun while enjoying his sweets.
Everyone shared a laugh and enjoyed their sweets.
Meanwhile In Malhotra Mansion -
Hall -
Whole Malhotra Family was sitting in the hall and talking. While Siddharth was just busy in his phone. Shreshth and Nandini noticed this first and looked at each other with a teasing smirk. Shreshth told Nandini his plan of teasing Siddharth by eyes. She understood it and they both went towards him.
"Wow bhai!! You forgot your family so early" said Nandini, keeping her arm on her forehead, doing overacting.
"What you mean now??" asked Siddharth while looking at her with the corners of his eyes.
"This only that you got very busy with your soon to be wife this much that you forgot your family and especially your siblings. You don't have any time for us. Very bad!!" exclaimed Shreshth, wiping his fake, imaginary tears.
"I am not talking to Shivanya, I am doing my office work. If you are missing your bhabhi so much then talk to her on your own" said Siddharth, showing them his phone to make them believe that he is working only.
"We are not having her number to talk to her nor we are having her instagram Id" said Shreshth and Nandini together, making a cute pout.
"That so I also don't have. I too don't have her number!! And I don't think that she uses Instagram" said Siddharth.
"How can you say that??" asked Shreshth, curiously.
"I can say that because I didn't saw instagram in her phone" replied Siddharth casually.
"You used her phone??" asked Nandini, folding her legs and sitting beside him, her eyebrows knitting together, asking for answer.
"Can say so, I was feeding my number in her phone but forgot to take her number" said Siddharth, mentally slapping himself.
"That's so bad bhai!! You should have not forgot this much important piece of information" said Nandini, making a sad pout.
"Now how we will talk to her??" asked Shreshth, making a sad pout.
"Don't worry as soon as I will get her number, I will pass her number to you both after asking her. Ok??" said Siddharth caressing Nandini's hair and ruffling Shreshth's.
They nodded and everyone made their way towards their room only after wishing each other a good night. ______________________________
